Deer Tick - Dirty Dishes (2011)

Deer Tick is my longstanding FBOAT (Favorite Band of All Time) and this is my favorite song of theirs, and also a peak performance.

Frontman John McCauley is like a greasy drunken angel who was sent down from heaven to chain smoke Marlboro reds and write beautiful music. He’s also one of the best performers I’ve ever seen.

I’ve seen them live 10+ times and this is a performance that captures the energy of the band beautifully. Love them forever.
